Research in a Box is ...

A set of projects designed for schools to encourage diverse cohorts of students to engage in creative, real-world computing projects.

The projects are intentionally designed for teachers and students of computing at GCSE and A-level, and all have a link to university-level research. They may be used in classroom lessons, remotely as independent learning activities or in informal education settings such as clubs. The motivational material may also be useful in promotional activities - promoting computing, as a subject, to students and parents.

All projects are sub-divided into six activities, typically: a base activity, 4 extension activities, and a concluding activity involving presentation and/or assessment opportunities.
